This two day course is designed for experienced physical and occupational therapists currently working with babies. Lecture information will focus on NDT Infant Treatment Principles. Labs and videotapes will be used to problem solve system impairments for infants in general and for the specific infants who will be treated in demonstration sessions. Labs with dolls will augment the therapist’s understanding of infant treatment techniques.

Participants will be notified within 14 days of receipt of their application and a $100.00 non refundable deposit will be required to guarantee a place on the course. The tuition balance of $4200/$4400 is due 4/1/11 unless other arrangements are made with the course coordinator.

2009 APTA JEANNE FISHER DISTINGUISHED MENTORSHIP AWARD
This award was created to recognize contributions in mentorship and clinical teaching. Section membership shall nominate a member for this award for significant, sustained contributions to pediatric physical therapy by mentoring and assisting less experienced colleagues in professional development. The award is presented to the recipient at the Section's Awards Reception during the Combined Sections Meeting.
